Michigan Green Building Tax Credit

A bill has been introduced into the Michigan legislature to provide tax credits for "green" residences or renovation (to your primary residence). These have to be certified by Green Built Michigan, National Green Building Program, or other similar program. Presumably as an income tax credit, it will not apply to carpetbaggers like us that do not pay income taxes to the state of Michigan (our primary residence is in Illinois, sigh, where our employment is).
